Peter Lawrence

Peter Lawrence paints mainly in watercolour and has developed a bold interpretive style including more recently some moves to abstraction. His range is illustrated in this selection of paintings which include the Grand Sik Entrance to Petra, Alhambra Palace by Moonlight, an interpretation named Ukraine will Mend and another abstract impressions of the Musandam peninsula in Oman titled Baked in the Heat of a Thousand Suns.   Peter runs 3-day workshops for both beginners and those wishing to develop their watercolour skills. Peter has travelled widely and after a strong focus on the Arab world and Eastern Mediterranean, has now settled in Somerset which is proving to be a rich inspiration. His works are displayed in homes, offices, and hotels both in the UK and overseas.
