Somerset Art Weeks Festival 2024 Micro-commissions
We are looking to commission 5-7 artists/artist collectives in Somerset to make new work that responds to the Festival theme “Landscape – Flux and Flow”
We are calling artists in Somerset to express an interest in producing new works that respond to our 2024 Festival theme of “Landscape – Flux and Flow” – As we move through this time of transition, we ask you to curiously examine your relationship with the land, sea, environment and landscape.
The proposed work can be in any medium, including sound, moving image, photography, live art and should either be site-specific or have a clear idea of the context in which it would be presented. Selected artists will be offered a budget of up to £2,000 including fees and materials. Projects that we have commissioned in 2022 can be found here: Micro-commission programme for 2022 festival
We welcome applications from all artists living AND/OR working in Somerset.
