At Home with Nature
Nature and creativity lockdown project for families and schools
Participants created their own nature inspired designs using templates by artist Melanie Tomlinson and Somerset Art Works.
The colourful creations were shared on our community blog, where our panel of artists and conservationists selected their favourite designs.
Winning designs were then professionally printed on weatherproof aluminium by Melanie Tomlinson and returned for spectacular outdoor display.

This project aimed to encourage observation and learning about nature whilst also developing design and creative skills. Lots of people took part in this collective, community activity and shared their designs via our online gallery (project blog). We also held an exciting competition for designs to be selected by professional artist and conservationist judges, these winning designs were then printed on metal by artist Melanie Tomlinson and returned for outdoor display.
See the colourful creations on our community blog athomewithnaturesomerset.wordpress.com and social media.
