We are opening the Old Basket Centre on the entrance to Westover Trading Estate in Langport as a bakery and canteen from early May. It is a really light and airy building with lots of wall space and quite a bit of grass outside adjacent to the river. We think it will make a lovely venue.
I’m a painter and illustrator. I’ve all sorts of work screen prints, cards, posters.
Ideally looking for venue in Shepton or Frome area. I’d be more then happy to help invigilate but some days I’d need to bring baby, soon to be toddler.

I make ceramic vases, ships and figures. They are earthenware and decorated with brightly coloured slips and glazes. I have three 2ft square plinths and a table if necessary, so a space of 2×2 metres would be adequate. I am prepared to travel up to 40 miles.

I am looking for a space to show some of my glass panels during Somerset Art Weeks. I have both free-standing and wall-mounted works available. Ideally, the space needs to be fairly well lit and I am available to travel to any venue anywhere in the South Somerset area.
I am happy to help out with expenses, setting up, stewarding and anything else that needs doing. I can provide my own plinths and, if necessary, lighting.

I am seeking a venue to exhibit my alabaster sculpture and limestone carvings during Art Weeks 2019. I would also like to run alabaster workshops at the venue at weekends (Saturday or Sunday) where participants can make small alabaster sculptures using hand tools.

This is a spacious, carefully designed new studio/office development in Compton Dundon. The rural location overlooks the Somerset Levels to the west and owner’s woodland to the south. Local stone, oak and glass have been used to create workspaces with wonderful natural lighting. The main studio has an elevated ceiling and measures 5m x 8m. It would provide enough room for up to 3 artists to share during Art Weeks.
