Diversity Forum for the Arts in Somerset
February 13 @ 11:00 am - 3:30 pmFree
Join us to discuss disability and the arts in rural areas, as we look at what more can be done to support disabled artists, participants, and audiences.
A recent study has shown the South West is trailing behind when it comes to engagement in disability arts. We think the Somerset Diversity Forum offers a great opportunity to address this. So come and be part of our day of practical workshops and conversations, hosted by Somerset Film and Take Art, along with Rural Arts North Yorkshire and Unlimited, who are holding a parallel conference/ action day in North Yorkshire. They have invited the Somerset Diversity Forum to join them to discuss arts and disability via live digital hook up. Think Eurovision: “Hello Bridgwater, Thirsk calling.”
Who is the day for?
