National Meadows Day is an annual event taking place on Saturday 6th July 2019.

Last year, more than 125 events took place on or around National Meadows Day, celebrating wildflower grasslands with guided walks, wildlife hunts, arts & crafts, training workshops and more. Many people attending events are visiting meadows for the first time and they are truly surprised by the diversity of the flora, insects and reptiles found in the meadows they visited. National Meadows Day events are really helping to raise awareness about the importance of meadow preservation and playing a vital role in educating the public about this fast-disappearing habitat.
