Adam Grose will be running a zinc etching workshop, guiding you through the process and assisting with exploring and creating a unique etching plate and print. Learn how to create an etching from your drawing, investigating many approaches that can be applied with this fascinating process, in a safe manner, right through to a finished print on Fabriano. All materials will be provided.
Please bring a sketchbook/ image to work from to plan your etching, an apron/ overalls, any tools you think might be interesting to use (you will be supplied with an etching needle for drawing). The workshop will run from 10am – 1pm giving you the rest of the Saturday for other plans or allowing for further discussion at the end of the session.
