Huish Episcopi Academy worked with SAW and The Great Crane Project on a cross-curricular art-science-geography project in 2015.

The year 8 students went on a field trip to the RSPB reserve at Aller, learning about wetlands and the Somerset Levels and Moors. The visit was facilitated by Christopher Jelley, poet technologist, film maker Dan Gale and Damon Bridge from The Great Crane Project. The students then presented these films in assembly to the whole year group , sharing their experiences and learning.
